"BUSTED-ARRESTED-IMPRISONED-136 GRADUATED-65 CHRUCHES PLANTED-AND OVER 2000 BUDDHISTS COME TO FAITH IN CHRIST" These were the headlines of our December, 2004 newsletter, outlining both the opposition we faced and the wonderful victory God gave us as we held our first graduation in Myanmar. The graduates represented 18 tribal groups from over 20 different religious denominations. Myanmar is a country of 45 million people, mostly Buddhist, ruled by a military government that opposes Christianity. The pictures represent life in Myanmar, and students during their training. |
